Editors Victoria's new look

This month we launch our new-look newsletter! Our thanks to Lorna Hendy, editor and graphic designer, who produced the revised blue and white logo for us. [Note: This online version has not changed – we're looking forward to a website update for that.]

Our redesign had three aims:

  • to make our newsletter a pleasure to read on all devices, from mobiles to desktops (so we're using a new responsive template developed on BEE Free)
  • to align our 'look' with that of IPEd to reflect our status as a state branch of the national body (so we've adopted the blue IPEd colour for our logo, the newsletter and Facebook and Twitter; updating our website is a longer term goal)
  • to distribute these newsletters via IPEd's MemNet system (allowing us to save money by cancelling our subscription for a separate service).

We'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions for further improvements. (And before you suggest a table of contents with links to sections or stories – yes, I want that too, but it's not currently possible with the BEE editor templates via MemNet. I hope it will become possible as MemNet achieves greater integration with BEE editor.)
