Training Update: Five More Courses in 2016

With five courses to go on the 2016 Editors Victoria training calendar, there's still time to update your skills across a variety of topics. This month, Glenys Osborne's popular Punctuation for Editors course returns and in October Jackey Coyle is taking her dance steps course to the next level with Advanced Dance Steps for the Self-Employed Editor. In November, Hilary Cadman presents two PerfectIt webinars and Lan Wang overviews the publication workflow in her course From Word to InDesign

With the IPEd transition, the best way to book a course is to do it through the Book events button on the IPEd member portal. It's got all the events available nationally, but you can filter for Victorian events by selecting Branch = VIC, then clicking Filter.  We've heard that some members may have had difficulties logging onto the new IPEd website to book their training. If you do, contact our Administration Officer Nicole Mathers and she will help sort things out. Upcoming events are also listed on the Training page of the Editors Victoria website.

In September we will be surveying members on what training courses you would like to see offered in 2017, so watch out for the email announcing the survey.
