Were You Accredited in 2009?

Did you become an accredited editor in 2009? Five years have flown past and the time has come to renew your accreditation. You will need to show that you have been actively involved in the editing profession and that you have undertaken appropriate professional development activities to maintain and extend your editing skills. There is no exam - all you have to do is provide the required information via an application form available on the IPEd website.

There are comprehensive guidelines for renewal of accreditation on the website, including instructions for accessing the application form. Please read these guidelines carefully before filling out your application.

The application fee for renewal of accreditation is $150 for Editors Victoria members ($175 for non-members). The fee must be paid when you submit your application. Payment methods are set out in the guidelines.

The application form for renewal of accreditation is available on the IPEd website. You can submit your application any time until 30 November 2014. Late applications will not be accepted unless prior permission has been obtained from the Accreditation Board.

If you have questions about re-accreditation that are not covered in the guidelines, please email your query to IPEd.
