News Media

Newspapers are folding, whole editorial teams are being laid off, and the news we read is almost never objective (and occasionally, not even grammatically correct!). In June, join Veronica Sullivan, editor of Kill Your Darlings, Erik Jensen, editor of The Saturday Paper, Izzy Roberts-Orr, co-director of the National Young Writers' Festival, and Brigid Delaney, senior writer and columnist for The Guardian Australia, to talk about the challenges, rewards, and their roles as editors in the world of the 24-hour news cycle.

Veronica Sullivan is the Prize Manager of the Stella Prize and Online Editor for Kill Your Darlings journal. She is a 2016 Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellow, and is on the steering committee for the inaugural Feminist Writers Festival.
